Application Forms

Job application is often used so that everyone is considered for a job based on the same set standards chosen by the employer. But they can seem really daunting and may require hours of work. Here are some tips:

• Read the form several times before trying to fill it in this way you get an idea of what the employers are looking for;
• Photocopy the form several times - This way you can make as mistakes filling it in before you are confident that you have got a good copy. Practise makes perfect;
• Give your self plenty of time to fill out the form leaving it until the last minute will only cause a lot of stress and anxiety;
• Make you sure you have all your details at hand before you start to fill out the form;
• Make sure you follow all the instructions very carefully;
• Plan what you going to write very carefully, - remember as before sell yourself!
• Take notice of how big the spaces to write are and try to write only what is necessary;
• Don't leave blank spaces it is viewed negatively by employers.
