Thalidomide!! A Musical

Until 21 October 2006, Touring

Written and composed by Mat Fraser, starring Mat Fraser and Anna Winslet, Thalidomide!! A Musicall tells the irrerevent and totally un PC story of a man with very short arms looking for true love and respect in a long armed obsessed world. The musical follows the history of Thalidomide through song and dance. Can ”Short-armed” (Thalidomide impaired) Glyn and “long-armed” Katie ever truly be in love? A dark and deeply funny love-story, set against the backdrop of the Thalidomide drug scandal of the 1960s.

What the critics said….

“outrageous, brilliant, taboo-busting songs”
The Scotsman

‘A sharp and highly original musical that deserves a wide audience’
Charles Spencer, The Telegraph

‘Entertaining, witty and revealing, the show really packs a punch, providing an ideal showcase for Fraser’s many talents’
Disability Now

‘One of the most life-affirming performances I’ve witnessed on stage’
Manchester Evening News
